National Schools Competition

Also, we have written to over one hundred National Schools in the Donegal Local Development Company (DLDC) catchment in Donegal. We are encouraging them to become involved on the day, to identify a project in which their senior stream pupils can become involved in volunteering.Voluntary activity by children encourages them to remain active as Volunteers throughout their adult lives.

We will award three prizes of a School Travel Voucher worth €300 each to three schools, one chosen from each of the Forum Areas of the DLDC catchment, based on the best project. The last date for entries is Friday, September 24th 2010.
