Volunteer Management Training
Volunteer Management Training is designed to enable an Organisation get the best possible results from involving Volunteers. It provides a structure which can be used by an Organisation to provide a good experience for Volunteers, where they will be able to continue volunteering. It describes and encourages the use of best practice in Volunteer involvement in your Organisation.
This course will run in the Donegal Volunteer Centre offices in Letterkenny on Friday, October 22nd 2010 (Modules 1 & 2), and on Friday October 29th 2010 (Modules 3 & 4).
The Volunteer Management Training has four distinct but inter-related modules:
Module 1
- Planning for Volunteer Involvement
- Designing Volunteer Roles
Module 2
- Recruitment and Selection of Volunteers
- Induction of Volunteers
Module 3
- Recognition and motivation of Volunteers
- Providing supervision and support for Volunteers
Module 4
- Designing a policy for Volunteer involvement
